                            Projects include a large sculptural railing and handrail at  Soleil Restaurant 3001 E. Skyline Tucson,                                         Arizona 1999-2000; fabricating and installing a number of public sculptures for Susan Gamble of Santa                                 Theresa Tile Works including two near the new bookstore on the University of Arizona campus in 2001-                                 2002 and four large steel agave plants along Sunrise Drive, Tucson, Arizona 2003.

 

1995-1999         Sculptor/Fabrication Supervisor

                            The Larson Company, Tucson, Arizona

                            Projects include fabricating and installing many objects for “The Idea Factory”, a children’s interactive                                     water space at the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago, Illinois 1996; sculpting and supervising                                 the making of ten large (up to 10’) sea creatures for the gift shop at The Shedd Aquarium, Chicago,                                         Illinois 1997; sculpting and installing five large (up to 6’) sea creatures for “Seahorse Symphony” at the                                   Shedd Aquarium 1999 and sculpting and supervising the construction, painting, animation, and shipping                             of the Marshall Fields Christmas window display for 1997 and 1998.

 

1989-1995          Assistant (part-time) to sculptor Paul Harris of Bolinas, California.  

                            Fabricated wooden sculptures and assisted in the mold making and casting of various bronze sculptures.

 

1989-1995         Assistant (part-time) to sculptor Patricia Lyons Stroud of Mill Valley, California.  

                            Fabricated and assisted in the making of many sculptures in wood and plaster.

 

1984-1988         Assistant to sculptor Dennis Jones of Tucson, Arizona.

                            Assisted in the fabrication and installation of many large stainless steel sculptures.  Projects include two                               sculptures for the Steelcase Corporation, Grand Rapids, Michigan; a large outdoor sculpture near                                           Washington D.C. and a piece for the Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland, Ohio.
